As seen below in Cities: Skylines’ announcement trailer for its Industries expansion, players will be able to create factories while also managing supply and production chains. What’s more is that the DLC also adds five new maps, new policies, new city services, new buildings, and much more. Those looking forward to the add-on won’t have to wait too much longer, as it’s set to release on October 23, and it will be priced at $15 upon launch.

For those who haven’t been keeping up with Cities: Skylines’ post-launch life cycle, Paradox Interactive and Colossal Order’s introduction of Industries will be the game’s ninth expansion, and it is the second one to come out this year. Earlier in May 2018, to be specific, the publisher and developer released the expansion known as Parklife, which brought new amusement parks, nature reserves, city parks, and zoos, as well as custom parks and gardens.

As many city-building and construction sim fans will likely attest, Cities: Skylines has managed to establish itself as a solid alternative to 2013’s lackluster debut of the newest SimCity, and its steady stream of expansions have kept the title feeling fresh. And with such a robust selection of add-ons from which to choose–the Natural Disasters expansion has proven to be a fan-favorite, for instance–it seems as if Paradox Interactive and Colossal Order has made sure that each piece of DLC does its best to add an extra flavor of variety into the mix.

Cities: Skylines is available now for Linux, Mac, Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
