A Redditor known as OnyxCoast uploaded a clip that shows them live by being fortuitous. The clip shows the user run into a tower while being chased by a dog and two of Elden Ring’s Cleanrot Knights. The player pulls the lever that summons the elevator and hides in the back of the tower in order to avoid the enemies. When the elevator finally comes down, OnyxCoast jumps on and pushes the button that makes it go up. The gamer jumps off as it rises, leading the dog and one of the Cleanrot Knights to fall. The other foe continuously casts spells that push it forward and eventually pushes itself far enough that it also falls down the elevator. OnyxCoast is one of many making it through FromSoftware’s RPG due to luck. A Reddit user going by the name DiscoAlchemist posted an Elden Ring clip showing them live due to good RNG. In the video, DiscoAlchemist is battling a Cleanrot Knight and ends up being impaled by its spear. The enemy lifts the player up and throws them over a ledge. However, instead of falling to their death, the user lives by landing on a well-placed tree. The moment is a perfect example of a gamer living when they should have died, especially in a title notorious for sending players to their graves without effort.
