Even with Modern Warfare’s Season 2 date finally being announced and just a few days away, Infinity Ward is continuing to update the game and add content for the player base. Massive things seem to be in store in the upcoming weeks.

Here is how to obtain the blueprint for the Golden Dragon in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare:
Dead Man’s Chest Bundle
When it comes to the Golden Dragon, the only way to acquire the new blueprint is to purchase the Dead Man’s Fortune Bundle in the store within the game. This bundle costs 800 CP and comes with:
Golden Dragon blueprint Misfortune Cookie charm Wading Marauder emblem
For those who have purchased the Modern Warfare Season 1 battle pass, it is possible to receive up to 1,300 CP which would cover for the Dead Man’s Fortune Bundle.
Note that the Golden Dragon blueprint cannot be unlocked by challenges, gameplay, or any other means. It can only be purchased. It can also not be purchased as a single item, it must be bought within the Dead Man’s Fortune Bundle.
Some hope that Season 2 is already a step in the right direction, but even the way that this bundle and blueprint are handled has caused some fans online to be upset. One thing is that it’s a bit upsetting that the item can only be purchased, as opposed to something that can be unlocked in-game. Additionally, it is similar to the gold camo that is unlocked by standard progression from doing all of the gun challenges for the AK-47. Some who have completed this challenge see it as a bit of a slap in the face that one person can do all the hard work of unlocking a gold AK-47 through difficult challenges, and the other person can simply buy a better-looking gold blueprint for the AK-47 with no in-game effort at all.
That being said, in the world of microtransactions and season passes, it’s almost impossible to avoid in-game purchases. Infinity Ward has also continued to release fan-friendly updates like adding Ghost to Season 2, and hinted at bringing back one of the all-time favorites maps from Modern Warfare 2, Rust.
It’s not going to be easy to please everyone. One way to win over some fans would be to separate out all of the bundles. Allowing people to individually select items to buy in the stores would allow players to select exactly the item is that they are interested in purchasing. With Season 2 fast approaching, another huge way to win over fans would be to finally bring in the rumored battle royale mode that fans have been clamoring to add to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
