Protests have been on going in the city after a judge found Cleveland police office Michael Brelo not guilty of voluntary manslaughter for the deaths of Timothy Russell and Malissa Williams. Brelo and his colleagues fired 137 shots at the victims, who, as the trend continues, were unarmed African-Americans. The team announced the deal Wednesday after waiving Wayns on Monday. The 6-foot-2 former Villanova player didn't appear in a game this season, missing the first 33 contests with a torn left meniscus.
